Bob Ellis is the Fulton County Commissioner representing District 2

Bob Ellis is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and Fulton County Commissioner for District 2, which encompasses Milton, Mountain Park and large parts of Alpharetta, Roswell, and Sandy Springs.
Bob is a native of Commerce, GA and a long-term resident of North Fulton. Bob and his wife Jennifer, an elementary school teacher at Birmingham Falls Elementary in Fulton County, have three children and reside in Milton.
A proud graduate of the University of Georgia, Bob graduated with an honors degree in Finance in 1992.
Bob is an active long-term member of Northbrook United Methodist Church in Roswell, GA where he has served in numerous leadership roles and teaches Sunday school.
On a professional level, Bob currently is Senior Vice President at Chubb Limited, the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company.   During his twenty-four year career in the insurance industry, he has held a variety of underwriting and leadership roles.  Presently, Bob serves in an Executive capacity within Chubb’s North America Financial Lines Division where he has leadership responsibilities across a multi-state territory.
Bob serves on the Fulton County Water Authority Board, the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority Board and is Chairman of the Fulton County Audit Committee.  
On the County Commission, Bob serves as Executive Sponsor for Fulton’s Strategic Priority “All People Trust Government is Efficient, Effective and Fiscally Sound.”

Fulton County operates under the commission-county manager form of government. This system combines the policy leadership of elected officials with the administrative abilities of a county manager. The commission meets in regular session twice a month on the first Wednesday (10 a.m.) and the third Wednesday (10 a.m.). Tune in to Fulton County's government access channel, FGTV, for live coverage.

Fulton County Registration and Elections is committed to providing  candidate qualifying  information, campaign contribution disclosure forms  to assist hopeful candidates.  In addition, voters can obtain  sample ballots to assist  in candidate selection in preparation  for Election Day. Voter Identification | Print |

Georgia Voters are required to show one of six forms of valid photo identification when voting in person, during the absentee or advanced voting period or at the polls on Election Day. The valid forms of identification are as follows:

  • A Georgia driver’s license, even if expired.
  • Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar or Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).
  • Valid U.S. passport.
  • Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state.
  • Valid U.S. military photo ID.
  • Valid tribal photo ID.

If a voter does not have one of these forms of photo identification, they can obtain a FREE Voter ID card at their County Registrars’ office or the Georgia Department of Driver’s Services.
